Four Welsh wedding venues have been named among the best in the country at UK-wide wedding awards.
The Hitched Wedding Awards recognize excellence offered by wedding businesses in the UK through 16 categories – from wedding venues and caterers to wedding planners and photographers.

The four venues named as Welsh winners are The Ashburnham Hotel in Carmarthenshire, Glyngynwydd Wedding Barn and Cottages in Llanidloes, Plas Dinam Country House in Llandinam and The Beaches Hotel in Prestatyn.
The awards come after a tumultuous time for the wedding industry during the coronavirus pandemic when weddings were canceled and then guest numbers limited and restrictions implemented on dancing and live music.

Glyngynwydd Wedding Barn and Cottages, Llanidloes
With a choice of two ceremony rooms at this venue, the barns provide a blank canvas so couples can put their own stamp on the day’s decor.
Glyngynwydd is set in 12 acres of land, which include woods and a pond. They’ll help you with catering options which can be anything from pizza and a hog roast to a three-course wedding breakfast.
