Every new model year, some vehicles fail to make the cut. Call it survival of the fittest, decreased demand, or some other circumstance. It does not matter. Vehicles are removed from automakers’ listings every year for many reasons, and 2021 is no different. Now that we are in the last days of the year, we can now present the full list of makes and models that will not be launched in 2022. They all got off to a good run, but their time is obviously up.
Some on this list won’t surprise anyone while others will bring disappointment. One notable trend is that many are luxury coupes and convertibles. There are also a few sedans, station wagons, and a crossover that is ultimately deemed too small for American tastes. Hell, there are even a couple of premium SUVs out there that won’t be returning for now.
So, without further ado, these are the cars that won’t be back in 2022.
